Vocational Quality Assurance & Risk Specialists.
We are BTEC & AAQ specialists in Quality Assurance, Risk & Compliance. We help schools and trusts identify risks early, ensure compliance, and secure strong student outcomes.
Huie Consulting works with schools, sixth forms and multi-academy trusts to ensure their BTEC and AAQ provision is compliant, high-quality and delivering strong student outcomes.
We provide ongoing strategic and practical support for leaders and teaching teams responsible for vocational qualifications — helping them to meet awarding body requirements, strengthen teaching and assessment, and improve results.
We act as a BTEC & AAQ standards partner for schools that want confidence in their vocational provision.
Our work typically includes:
-
Identify risks and gaps in moderation or inspection
-
Quality Assurance reviews/audits to ensure compliance
-
Curriculum and pathway planning for BTEC/AAQ programmes
-
Assessment, internal verification and marking quality
-
Teaching and learning support for vocational staff
-
Lesson observations and developmental feedback
-
Results tracking and improvement planning
-
Awarding body and Ofsted readiness
-
Learning Resources
This support is delivered through termly and annual partnerships, not one-off training days — so schools have consistent, expert oversight throughout the academic year.

Vocational and technical education reform (BTECs, AAQs and post-16 pathways)
-
Post-16 accountability, quality assurance, and governance
