What We Support
BTEC Standard Verification & External Verification Preparation - We help schools, MATs, Sixth forms and colleges prepare thoroughly for BTEC standard verifications. This includes reviewing portfolio evidence (learner work), checking assessor decisions, and ensuring your internal quality assurance trail is robust and inspection-ready.
Vocational Quality assurance (QA) Processes for Sixth Forms and FE Colleges - Strong vocational QA is at the heart of credible BTEC delivery. We audit your existing processes, identify gaps, and work alongside your team to embed systems that meet awarding body requirements and stand up to scrutiny.
AAQ Readiness Support - Alternative Academic Qualifications (AAQs) are being introduced from August 2025. We support schools in understanding the new requirements, adapting their curriculum and assessment approaches, and ensuring staff are confident in delivery before the first cohort begins.
BTEC Risk Mitigation: Including Summer Term - The summer term prepares vocational providers for: standards verification results, feedback and reflection, and preparation and planning for the next academic year. We provide targeted support to identify and manage risk to ensure quality assurance and compliance, giving leaders confidence that provision is secure.
Ongoing Vocational Quality Assurance - Beyond one-off visits, we offer termly and annual partnerships that embed a named expert into your school or trust — taking responsibility for BTEC and AAQ quality so your leaders aren't carrying that risk alone.

IS YOUR SCHOOL AAQ READY?
AAQs are new Level 3 qualifications developed by the DfE, designed to sit alongside A-Levels. Launching from August 2025 in subjects including Health & Social Care, IT, and Applied Science, they combine exams and coursework with clearer university progression routes.
